Friedrich angel horn (* 26 September 1821 in Mannheim; "† 11. March 1902 ebd.) was a German entrepreneur.

In the year 1865 angel horn in Mannheim created the "aniline & Soda-Fabrik of Baden AG" (BASF), whose work area was settled in on other Rhine side which was appropriate the Ludwigshafen on the Rhine.

This open commercial company is registered with a capital by 100,000 guldens on 19 June 1861 into the Mannheimer trade register. Establishment of the aniline and Sodafabrik of Baden

On 6 April 1865 the aniline and Sodafabrik of Baden are created. In the establishment report it means:

"The new company bears the name aniline and Sodafabrik of Baden, corporation, and has its seat in Mannheim. The society has the production and the sales of all kinds of colors and chemical products to the article. The duration of the society is determined at 25 years, the capital stock at 1.400.000 guldens, the board of directors consists of five members and two deputies. The Mr. Friedrich angel horn, August Clemm, belong to the management appointed by the society Carl Clemm and Julius Giese. The company will represent two other directors together valid by Mr. Friedrich angel horn alone or."
