The French Antilleses (also French west India) consist of the two French Guadeloupe and Martinique.

Except the Hauptinseln still some smaller islands of the small Antilleses belong to, altogether are large the islands 2807 km The small ones and large Antilleses are called also westIndian islands, since its discoverer Christoph Kolumbus regarded them as a part of Asia.
