The (Russula cyanoxantha) differs from most other by the fact that its lamellas are soft not inflexibly, but (see also .
It is considered as very good food mushroom.

Characteristics
- Most important characteristic are the soft sheets. During contact they feel smudgily, are not not rigid and break not.
- Hat: 5-10 cm broad; at first curved and darkly later out-flattening and greenish to light brown (in the colors very variably).
- Handle: clean-white; downward easily bulgy; to 10 cm highly and 1.5-2.5 cm diameters.
- Sporenstaub: clean-white.
Occurrence
The grows on easily sour, but nutrient-rich soils. Like all it is an obligatory Mykorrhizapilz. Feature time is from May to November with emphasis from July to Septembers.
