Ford Taurus is an automodel of the US-American automobile company Ford. There are different models, which differ by the series. Ford the Taurus gives it as Limosine and as combination.

The series 1987-1990/91 are very similar Ford the Sierra and Ford Scorpio in Germany.

From 1991/92 to 1994/95 one can compare Ford the Taurus with Ford the Mondeo. These two differ outwardly at the front and at the tail lamps. Otherwise they are almost identical. In the linguistic usage one says also that Ford Taurus are the large brother of the Sierra, Scorpio and Mondeo.

A completely new Design was developed from 1995 to 1999. Ford Taurus now Ford resembled no more German. The front as well as the tail were arranged more aerodynamic.

Since 2000 there are again similarities Ford of the Taurus with Ford the focus and the new model Ford of the Mondeos. They are in front very similarly, only the tail possess themselves another Design.

Engine

Like nearly all American cars, it gives also Ford the Taurus with automatic transmission. Besides also a model with 5-Gang circuit was developed. There are two different engines. On the one hand the 3,0 L and on the other hand the 3.8 L engine.
