1960 presented Ford the Taunus P3 presented itself with his conception in a completely material, new European form. It coined/shaped the Slogan "line of the reason".
This model did without tail fins and over-on-boardends chrome decoration like still with the predecessor model. There was a combination variant beside the sedans, at first with advanced rear lights at the roof edge. This car is considered today as Design milestone and carried in the vernacular that unfortunately somewhat unfortunately selected pointed name "bath tub". This model of the series P5 was replaced.
