Tin Lizzy (dt. Blechliesel) is the colloquial name for the model T von Ford, by whom in the USA between 1908 and 1927 15 million pieces were built. Thus the Tin Lizzy was the usually-sold vehicle of the world, until you were removed in 17 February 1972 this title by the VOLKSWAGEN beetle.

The Tin Lizzy was the first car, which was manufactured on an assembly-line. The conversion to the assembly-line production took place on 14 January 1914, the initial selling price from 850, - US Dollar could thereby on 370, - US Dollar to be lowered. In order to accelerate the assembly-line process, between 1915 and 1925 only in black one produced, since this color dried fastest.
