Ford Consul a passenger car produced of the company Ford 1972 to 1975 is and is considered as the more simply equipped variant Ford of the Granada. Contrary to the Granada, which was added to automobiles the upper class, the Consul served the customers of the upper middle class. The name Consul was given up 1975 from market-technical considerations, and from now on for all models of the series the designation Granada was used.
