A fixed place system is an order system in a Warenlager. A firm place is assigned to each stored property, where only this may be stored.

In the majority of the producing enterprises such a system is not economical, since the necessary stockroom is clearly larger than during the chaotic storekeeping. This technology of the storage is used by enterprises, those

1. very few different raw materials process or
2. very much stockroom to have and it otherwise not use could or
3. certain materials with the usual raw materials cannot store (poison materials) or want (for example for reasons of clarity).
