Ferdinand Rhode (*1802 in Hamburg, "† 5 November 1872 in Leipzig) lived as a buyer in Leipzig. 1883 were designated in the music quarter of this city a road after it. Five years before its death it justified the donation for the city Leipzig, into which it brought its entire fortune of over 1.2 million Goldmark.
