The Federal Railroads central offices (BZA) in Minden and Munich were responsible as office of the German Federal Railroads for central tasks in the areas of the technical development (especially the vehicles and the upper's building) and the procurement, the updating of general regulations in the area of the technology and the account system as well as the statistic services.

History

After 1945 the functions former citizens of Berlin of the RZA were noticed first in Goettingen, then in Minden, parallel to it also in Munich. After the establishment of the German course AG to 1 January 1994 the was integrated into the new company structure; afterwards in Minden above all tasks for the executive committee range 5 - research and technology - were noticed. Further research activities of the German course AG take place in Munich at the location on the area of the former Federal Railroads repair work free man.
