The Federal association of the German people banks and Raiffeisen banks registered association (BVR) is the controlling body of an association registered from at present 1,290 people banks and Raiffeisen banks in the legal form.

The BVR attached is also the protection facility of the people banks and Raiffeisen banks, which secures the funds of the investors with inclinations of individual institutes.
