A fan [] (English fan [], of fanatical = fanatisch) is an inspired trailer of a person, a group of persons or a thing. The word "fan" was transferred from the English into several languages. As in this case into German or fanou"šek in the Czech. Organized fans are often in fan clubs together.

The phenomenon "fan" gives it particularly pronouncedly within the following ranges:

Sport

Fan of a sportsman, Sportverein or a kind of sport as for instance football fans. In the range sport (in particular with the kind of sport football) is the term fan additionally to distinguish from similar phenomena:

• With sport associations fans, that visit the matches of its crew, are called also Schlachtenbummler. For communication with the crew and other spectators they use would catch-sing.
• Ready for violence fans are often called hooligan, e.g. Sportveranstaltungen as platform abuse.
• A further sub-group of fans are Ultras.
• The Italian term Tifosi fans or trailers and is meant likewise used frequently as synonym for the Italian fans during a Sportveranstaltung. The word tifosi decreases/goes back to the illness typhoid fever, which leads untreatedly to high fever, as the Tifoso as a football fan at the football fever suffers.

Music

In particular in the Pop music: Fan of volume, a singer, a musician, a DJs etc.

Theatre, film and television

Fan of the theatre and/or the film generally, and/or of certain theatres, films, TV serials, moderators, Regiseuren or actors.

Art

Fan of an artist. In the range art is also often instead of of fan of lovers the speech. Special developments are here:
