The fair week is an action week organized by the forum fair trade for the promotion of the fair trade in Germany.
The first fair week was accomplished by 24. until 30 September 2001 under the patronage of the federal minister for economic co-operation and development, Mrs. Heidemarie Wieczorek Zeul.
In the year 2005 the fourth fair week under the slogan "delicious from all world" took place of 19. until 25 September. The date for the fair week in 2006 is the 18. until 30 September.
The fair week becomes with support of the Federal Ministry for economic co-operation and development (BMZ), the welfare organization bread for the world, the Evangelist volunteer service (EED) and the welfare organization Misereor made possible.
