Tourism

In Europe Viet Nam is associated rather with Viet Nam war, communism and poverty and does not rank therefore not among the classical vacation countries. Until Viet Nam became a few years ago therefore almost exclusively visited by people, which are interested in the culture, adventures to experience wanted or with the country after the Viet Nam war in or other kind were emotional connected.

Since approximately 1999 Viet Nam experiences however a boom in the tourism. Beside study travelers come also ever more backpack, overall and bath tourist, the latter particularly from other asiatic countries. This is based partially on a "alternate effect", which is justified with the continuous force and the terrorist attacks on the Philippines and in Indonesia, whereas Viet Nam has the image of a peaceful country with low criminality. Meanwhile also cruise ships start some vietnamesische ports and/or anchor before the coast and offer daily trips after Saigon, Nha Trang, there Nang or Hue.

In the last years in some fishing villages hasty some international hotels and Resorts were pulled up, restaurants for foreigners were opened and the structure of a routistic infrastructure was tackled. Several hundredthousand humans are already in the tourism busy.
