The European economic combination (English European Economic Association, briefly EEA) is a combination of economists. She was brought 1984 by Louis Phlips into being. Jacques Dreze became their first president. The EEA holds Workshops and congresses, and assigns those to John R. Hicks January Tinbergen medal and the Jahnsson honor. In addition it publishes two economic technical periodicals. Their present president is Mathias Dewatripont (Brussels).
