Johann William Eugen narrow brook, mentioned: Eugen narrow brook, (* 20 August 1873 in Halver Schmalenbach; "† 20 February 1955 in Cologne) was a German economist and economist. He is the brother of the philosopher Herman narrow brook. It is considered as a founder of the management economics as academic training subject.

Life

Eugen narrow brook became 1873 as a son of the hardware manufacturer Friedrich narrow brook (*1847, "† 7 April 1906Cordes, walter, 1984, P. 4 & 7) and its Mrs. Emma (geb. Halverscheid) born. Work

Eugen narrow brook saw the BWL first as art teachings, not as science. 1906 it created the magazine for commercialscientific research. 1951 developed "the narrow brook company for the promotion of the economical research and practice registered association "from the narrow brook combination, which was already created on 4 April 1936 from the VDDK. This was renamed 1998 into "the narrow brook company for marketing and management registered association ".

It in honours the Berufskolleg in Halver was called "Eugen Schmalenbach Berufskolleg ".
