Ethos (full name Ethos - Swiss plant donation for lasting development) is Swiss a plant donation, which was created 1997 by two Geneva pension funds.

Their goal is it to invest the entrusted funds on the basis of ethical and lasting criteria. For this purpose it accomplishes annually since 2002 a Ranking to the Corporate Governance of the 100 largest in Switzerland at Swiss stock exchange led Unternehemen. With enterprises, into which the funds are invested, it occurs for a conscious practice of the Stimmmrechts for shareholders.

For other pension funds the donation leads a fund (Ethosfund), which is administered after the same guidelines. This is not open however for private individuals.
