The Ethnologia Europaea journal OF European Ethnology - so the exact title - is an international technical periodical for Volkskunde, which 1966 were created by the Swedish Volkskundler Sigurd Erixon as well as colleagues from Yugoslavia, Portugal and France, in order to work against the linguistically caused isolation of individual national sciences. A catalog of themes, which itself at the beginning of questions of the traditional canon, appeared since that time two times annual, starting from which 1980er years increases theoretical and methodologischen problems dedicated.
