Escada is a luxury mode mark for exclusive lady clothing (DOB). Their collections contained Couture struck as well as   more porter, to accessories, bags, shoes, decoration, perfume, child clothing and sport clothing.

The mode house of Margaretha (* 1933, "† 4 June 1992) and Wolfgang Ley was created 1976 in Munich, which resumed the enterprise after the death of its wife.

ESCADA is an internationally active luxury mode company, the designer lady mode and accessory such as bags, shoes, small leather commodity, child mode, scarf, Parfums and decoration manufactures and verkauft.ESCADA 1976 of the Swedish top model Margareta and the young entrepreneur Wolfgang Ley based in Munich was based. The work distribution of the two was fast clarified: While Margareta worried about the creative work, Wolfgang took over that the financial part and around the sales. There the enterprise became successful went to ESCADA 1986 to the stock exchange Wolfgang Ley successfully resumed the enterprise after the death of its wife (1992). Today the ESCADA AG has world-wide 202 own Shops and is represented in more than 60 countries. The joint founder Wolfgang Ley withdrew on 31 January 2006 as a chairman of the board and handed the office over to its successor franc Rheinboldt, which painted the dividend as one of the first measures.
