Erwin wet one (* 2 December 1829 in Bonn; "† 1890) were a political economist.

Life

Wet habilitierte itself 1854 in Bonn as a private lecturer. Easter 1856 appointed the professor in Basel, he became in the autumn D. J. after Rostock and from there 1860 to Bonn appoint.

Work

Its literary work belongs primarily to the areas of the bank and fiscal matters, then agrarian history. We call: "Remarks over the Prussian control system" (Bonn 1861); "The Prussian bank" (that. 1866); "Over the medieval field community in England" (that. 1869); "Money and coinage", in beautiful mountain "manual the political economics" (2. Aufl., 1886); "Agrarian conditions in England", in the "writings of the association for social politics" (Bd. 27). 1869-78 it was member of the Prussian Lower House, in which it belonged to the free-conservative party. Since 1874 he is a chairman of the association for social politics.
