Erwin Friedrich Karl Victor George Heinrich Schliephake (* 18 August 1894 in pouring; "† 26 January 1995 ebenda) was a German physician.

Life

The son of a physician studied medicine at the Justus Liebig university pouring as well as the Humboldt university to Berlin and announced themselves then as a Freiwilliger to the First World War. In the year 1920 it attained a doctorate with a work for the diagnostic usability of tactile-motor reactions with celebral conditioned paralyses.

After it had completed its Assistenzjahre in Leipzig and Rostock, it went to Jena and dedicated themselves to the internal medicine there with priority. In this discipline it habilitierte 1929. Four years later Schliephake returned to its birth city pouring and became there 1936 unscheduled professor.

As extra full professor and a director of the university health center he found a new scientific homeland to 1942 in peppering castle. After the Second World War he took over the line of the urban hospital to pig ford, between 1952 and 1958 was he full professor for internal medicine and Chefarzt of the Balseri donation in pouring.

Schliephake died 1995 at the age of 100 years.

Work

The special attention of the research Schliephakes lay on the Endokrinologie, Rheumatologie and Karzinologie.

Since 1928 it was occupied with the possibility, short waves in the medicine, in particular with the Therapierung of cancer patients of beginning. In co-operation with the physicist Abraham Esau it developed thereby the short wave therapy. Although Schliephake could register healing successes with inoperable patients, its method did not find an entrance into the school medicine.
