Serious William plank (* 28. July 1903 in Bradford, Great Britain; "† 9 November 1960 in Duesseldorf) was from 1933 to 1945 directors/conductors of the NSDAP/AO, the organisation abroad of the NSDAP.

Life

Ernst Wilhelm plank was born as a son of the college teacher and engineer Hermann plank (1877-1943), emigrated to England. 1906 he came to Capetown, where its father had begun a Professur for electro-technology (see University of Capetown), and visited there a higher school. It studied political science and management economics in Cologne and Berlin and locked in December 1923 at the Handelshochschule Berlin as a Diplom-Kaufmann. On 14 November 1925 he married Gertrud brook man. Plank was busy from 1924 to 1930 as address leaders and agent in the import export trade for different enterprises in the Rhine country and created and led thereafter a large automobile company in Hamburg from 1930 to June 1933.

In December 1931 he became an assistant of Hans Nieland, the director/conductor "of the organisation abroad (AO) "the NSDAP, first responsibly for south and southwest Africa, later for North America. This organizational unit was at the 1. May 1931 in Hamburg based and the LV realm organization leader Gregor Strasser had appointed Nieland their boss. After Nieland to 8. May 1933 of this office withdrew (because he had become in the meantime a boss that Hamburg police authority and late members that Hamburg federal state government), entrusted one Ernst Wilhelm plank with the line of the NSDAP foreign country organization in the rank of a gau leader. Joseph Goebbels calls it in its diary on 7 November 1935 "one (n) our most capable people ". Bohles father Hermann was from 1932 to 1934 regional committee leaders of the NSDAP/AO in the South African union and since 1938 a president of the society GermanSouth African in Berlin resident.

From 12 November 1933 up to the end "of the third realm "it was member of the realm daily for the electoral district Since 3 October 1933 it belonged to the staff "of the deputy of the leader "Rudolf Hess. When this staff was integrated 1937 in the Foreign Office, one took over plank as an undersecretary of state. He dressed this rank until 1945.

On 11 April 1949 plank in one was however already begnadigt the of follow-up processes, which, to five years detention condemns William route process so mentioned, on 21 December 1949 by the American High Commissioner John Jay McCloy again. Subsequently, it was active in Hamburg as a buyer.

Ernst Wilhelm plank gave in the post-war period the impact for reestablishment to an organization, which used itself for the development of intergovernmental trade relations to the South African union. Over different intermediate stages, to which starting from at the beginning of of 1950 "South African associations for studies belonged "in Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart and Duesseldorf (the circle was led by the former "realm press boss "Otto Dietrich), originated in to 1965 again the GermanSouth African society (DSAG).
