International Ernst von Siemens music price (based in December 1972) is assigned annually of that-Bavarian academy of the beautiful arts on behalf the seriousness of Siemens donation. Are honoured a composer, an interpreter or a music scientist. Apart from the main price still promotion prices will assign. The price is at present (conditions: 2006) with approximately 1.5 million euro endow, about which 150,000 euro to the main price and the remainder are allotted to the promotion prices.
