Ernst Christian Friedrich Schering (* 31. May 1824 in Prenzlau; "† 27 December 1889 in Berlin) was a German pharmacist and Industrieller.

Schering was born as the youngest of 5 children of a restaurant operator/barkeeper. Its parents wished that it should become pharmacists.
