Ernst (* 28 February 1900 in Zurich; "† 24 November 1971 in Risch) was a Swiss building contractor.

Life

Ernst was born as a son of a glazier. After it had created a door and a window factory, it was shifted on on the production of prefabricated houses.

Its enterprise became a large building company and specialized in the establishment of large-scale developments (satellite cities) in slab method. Ernst AG took over everything with these buildings, from the purchase of land to the marketing of the dwellings. Several municipalities in the dye Zurich (among other things Adlikon at rain village, seizing lake ZH and Volketswil) doubled their number of inhabitants with such covering into the 1960er year.

Since Ernst did not have direct inheriting, it bequeathed his fortune non-profit Ernst donation.
