Ernst Christian Carl Kruse (* 28 February 1836 in Esens/East Frisia; "† 22 February 1900 in Berlin) was a physician and politician.

After school attendance and pharmacist teachings in Esens Kruse studied medicine at the George August university Goettingen and attained a doctorate there 1862. After several years of the activity in different hospitals it opened a practice in the north. it belongs to 1871 to the initial members of the shipping company the north (late north Frisia). 1882 pulled Kruse on the island Norderney and the royal bath physician were ordered there and 1885 the medical physician appointed. In this time (1883) it publishes also its work "sea-air and seaside resort" that very much attention received.

In the years 1884-1890 and 1893-1900 Kruse for the national liberal a party member of German Reichstag was as representatives "2. Ostfriesi electoral district", that the old circle Aurich, Wittmund, Wilhelmshaven, which covered office stick living and Papenburg. 1893 Kruse besides as a delegate into the Prussian federal state parliament was selected.

Kruse suffered such a heavy brain bleeding on 21 February 1900 during a meeting of the commission for Petitionen, led by it that it was no longer transportable and already deceased on the next day in the citizen of Berlin Reichstag.
