Sir Ernest Oppenheimer (* 22. May 1880 in Friedberg (Hessen); "† 25 November 1957; actually Ernst Oppenheimer) is founder of the diamond trust under the company De Beers.

Ernst Oppenheimer was born as a fifth son of a small Jewish cigar dealer 1880 in Friedberg (Hessen). 1902 it moves on behalf jewel dealers the Dinkelsbuhler to Kimberley, South Africa. 1906 it terminates its teachings there and marries.
