Professor Dr. Erich tooth (* 1940 in Naumburg (Saale)) is a German economist.

Erich tooth studied at the University of Mannheim and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (WITH) marketing and management before he 1970 at the University of Mannheim attained a doctorate. Subsequently, it was member of a research group at WITH which 1972 the borders of growth, which first publication club of the OF Rome published.

Since its Habilitation at the university Mannheim 1976 he is a professor for marketing and management at the University of Stuttgart. Contentwise its attention applies for the range system Dynamics. He was temporarily a president the international system Dynamics Society.
