The enterprise AG, (originally Julius & August aluminum of rolling and press works), which its products under the label name aluminum drove out, became 1842 by the brothers Julius and August in Barmen Wupperfeld (today: Wuppertal) based and is since then constantly in the metalworking industry represented. It was one first, aluminum as promising material for itself discovered. Since the year 2000 it co-operates closely with the WKW group (walter small works).

Aluminum becomes particularly within the ranges

• Stangenpressen for "Heat transfer" of systems, as well as for insulation glasses
• Automotive Zier /Funktionsleisten
• Automotive cylinder liners

worked on and improved.

Today in Velbert resident enterprise employs about 1,500 coworkers.
