The employment teachings (EL) are a training subject in the training at authorities and organizations with safety tasks (BOS). In particular in the training of the police and the fire-brigade the employment teachings are one of the specialities of the training.

In the literature the employment teachings are described as the theory over well-planned, purposeful, legally permissible, tactically and psychologically correct employment and the guidance of forces.

In the employment teachings all past realizations and experiences are structured obtained, in order to transfer it considering the legally permissible to as much as possible cases of application.

Partial way is informed the training subject also together with the guidance teachings (abbreviation FEL).
