Emolumente (of Latin emolere, "out-grind ") is a today no longer common term from on the right of and economic life for regularly paid off, in their height however varying supplementary income.

Typical Emolumente were for example those in former times, partial in material assets to paying incomes of the teachers as well as the charring and lubricant premiums of the driving service personnel on steam engines.

If the supplementary income is only occasionally paid, one speaks of Akzidenzien (of Latin accidens, "coincidental ").
