Emil Sax (* 8 February 1845 in Jauernig, Austrian Schlesien; "Â 25. March 1927 Volosca (Volosko, Istrien)) was a political economist.
Sax studied Paris world exhibition in Vienna and became 1867 secretary of the Austrian commission with that, when which he the official report on the organization the same worked on. It stepped then as Konzipist into the Viennese Chamber of Commerce in and habilitierte beside it as a private lecturer in national economy at the technical university, later also at the university to Vienna. Since 1873 he was a secretary to the emperors Ferdinands Nordbahn, 1879 he as a professor to the Prager Karl university was appointed. In the same year Sax was selected also into the Austrian Lower House.
