Electron beam melting (Electron Beam Melting, EBM) or is also electron beam-internally a procedure for the production of metallic construction units.

A metallic powder is purposefully melted by an electron beam as energy source, whereby compact construction units of almost arbitrary geometry can be made directly of the statements.
