The education center for blind ones and Sehbehinderte Krakau is the central school center for blind one and Sehbehinderte in South Poles, which were created 1948 in Krakau.

Structures

The education center covers a six-year primary school, a three-year secondary school I as well as a three-year structure High School (classes 9-12), which lead to the university-level graduation. For those, which do not aim at study, there is a specialized technical for clay/tone technicians and Klavierstimmer as well as a technical school for horticulture there. From the 2004 altogether about 500 pupils of the mechanism 280 lived in an attached boarding school.

Since 1991 a partnership with the comparable central German mechanism exists, to the Carl Strehl school of the German institute for blind study in Marburg. The pupils of the 11. Class drive in each case for one week into the partner mechanism. The pupil exchange project is prepared foreign language in each case and in the subjects history, economics and politics.
