economy is a Austrian weekly paper for research, technology and economics.

Since 13 January 2006 the sheet appears two weekly in an edition of 30.000 pieces in completely Austria as well as in Bavaria. 5.000 further copies are in English printed and in Croatia, which Slowakei, Slovenia, Tschechien and Hungary are presented.

Starting from in the middle of 2006 is to appear then weekly economy. The lachsfarbene Colorierung of the paper orients itself at the model of the Financial Time, Logo of the sheet is arranged Eule.Der extent is 32 sides to amount to, into four books. In the Einzelverkauf economy 2.30 euro are to cost.

Publisher of the newspaper is Christian Czaak, as editors-in-chief functions Rita Michlits (before: Business paper and computer world) and Thomas (former economic editor for the standard and the press).

According to data of the publisher the project is through-financed over three years with 4.83 million euro. Which investors stand behind economy, is not so far well-known.

Beside the newspaper also an on-line portal is operated.
