In former times common designation "development assistance" is not no more used officially. This term suggests that it acts with the assistance around alms of the industrialized countries to the developing countries. A modern development policy is limited not to one-sided assistance, but aimed at co-operation with the countries concerned. Therefore in the today's time also of "development co-operation" or "development partnership" one speaks.
