Dorothy Stratten (* 28 February 1960 in Vancouver, British Columbia; "† 14 August 1980 in Los Angeles, California; actually Dorothy Ruth Hoogstraten) was a Canadian Playmate, which worked also as an actress.

Life

It was born as Dorothy Ruth Hoogstraten in a welfare army hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It buildup there and visited the High School in Coquitlam. 1976, while she worked as partial time strength in a local lunch (Dairy Queen), became acquainted with it the activator Paul Snider. It persuaded it to send photos of it to the well-known magazine Playboy. Snider falsified for this purpose the signature of the nut/mother in the model contract, since Dorothy Ruth Hoogstraten was still under age at this time. 1979 it selected to "measure August "and changed their surnames of Hoogstraten in Stratten. 1980 one selected Dorothy Stratten to "the Playmate of the yearly ".

In June 1979 she married Paul Snider in read Vegas, Nevada.
