The Doppstadt Calbe GmbH is an enterprise in the range environmental technology and mechanical engineering.
The enterprise was created 1965 by Werner Doppstadt in Velbert. First series production consisted of drum sieve jiggers, Zerkleinerern and edge strip mowers. Later special machines and/or tools were developed and patented such as grab pliers for wheeled loader, wheeled loader container for truck and the like.
In the year 1990 the marketing company DVG was created and two years later followed the assumption of the conveyor plants Calbe GmbH in Calbe (Saale). 1995 followed the Umfirmierung into the Doppstadt Calbe GmbH. 2002 were merged the marketing company DVG with the Doppstadt Calbe GmbH and the company headquarters was shifted after Calbe.
Today the enterprise employs approx. 380 coworkers in Calbe. Here on approximately 18,000 m resounding surface is manufactured. Here the production of Gurttrommeln takes place as well as assortment of the Doppstadt machines for the environmental technology.
