Disassembly planning

Disassembly planning and - control (DPS) places, similarly to production planning and - control (PPS), apart from the work planning a part of the job planning. The DPS covers those organizational/dispositive side of the disassembly. In particular in systems and/or the product recycling is the center of attention to concepts of the DPS. Similar to to conventional PPS systems and/or concepts the complex problems of operational planning and control are solved gradually and so-called "spare goals" are pursued. A positive influence on economy is assumed by low turn-around times, high date loyalty and stock availability, small existence and a high and even utilization of capacity.

The fundamental difference of PPS and DPS arises as a result of being present a binary achievement situation (service and producer achievement) of the disassembly enterprises, a binary costing and proceeds situation (costs and proceeds on the input and Outputseite), high an uncertainty (e.g. regarding the old equipment accumulation quantities) and a high complexity (e.g. regarding additional degrees of freedom from old tool-making equalnesses).

From this three main requirements can be derived to DPS concepts:

1. The planning process must be driven by products of disassembly
2. Old devices must be procured according to need
3. Uncertainty and complexity must be reduced

On basis of the process similarities of production and disassembly as well as the demand for according to small expenditure for implementation and employment of DPS systems conventional PPS concepts (based on MRP II) are adapted disassembly-induced requirements. Indistinct and uncertain data become assistance of e.g. Prognoses and Fuzzy analyses into quasi-deterministic data transfers. A durable planning and a antizipatives disturbance management decrease and/or lower effects of malfunction. The beginning of the gradual planning concept following, disassembly planning into particulars to reduce planning stages divided by the complexity. Functions are partially supplemented (e.g. Variant configuration), modifies (e.g. Secondary requirement planning) or already on concept level into external systems paged out (e.g. Fuzzy analyses, linear optimization).
