Bag made training as the industrial trader in recent years.

From 1967 to 1970 it studied marketing and management at the professional school in its hometown.

In that years 1970 to 1976 he was a commercial managing director with the Franz Garny AG.

From 1976 to 1991 bag led with the VDO Adolf ski thing AG the range financial and account system.

In November 1991 it became at the German Federal Railroads member of the board and transferred the range finances and Controlling.

Starting from March 1993 he took over additionally the same office with the German National Railroad.

When 1994 the German course AG was created, it maintained its past post.
