Dave Winer (* 2. May 1955 in Brooklyn, New York town center) is an US-American software developer and firm founder.

1979 to 1981 he was chief developer with personnel software. Thereupon it created Living videotex, where it was until 1988 also CEO. 1988 it created user country software, until 2002 had it here the post of the CEO. Since 2003 research scholarship at the Berkman center for Internet & Society, Harvard Law School.

During the years 1994 - 1996 it was involved also in the magazine Wired.
