The data processing concept (detailed data processing concept) is a continuation of the specialized concept with the production of data bases or with programming. It describes the relevant data and their processing. The information determined in the specialized concept is adapted on the respective data base and/or programming language. Setting of tasks from the specialized concept are structured and documented relative the data structures and processing steps.

In a general manner contain a data processing concept (see also EH concept):

• Description of the input data
• Description of the original data
• Documentation of processing steps, i.e. description of the processing algorithms which the input data to the original data transform.

There are several processing steps, above procedure for everyone is transaction-repeated these. In addition a data processing concept contains an overview on the data model, e.g. he diagram.

Description of the data model

The description of the data model e.g. contains the substantial data elements and tables.:

2. Which data types have the fields, which
3. What are the primary
4. Which linkages are there between the

These information becomes ith D. R. in extensive tables represented. With larger extent a reference to an interactive DATA Dictionary is meaningful.

Description of the processing steps

During larger projects the processing is arranged first into applications or modules. These units were divided then into individual processing steps, e.g. Transactions, job, program runs o. The sequence of these processing steps can be firmly given by program or be however later by the program user assignable.

The individual processing steps document here in each case:

• the relevant input data
• the data results which can be obtained
• the logical form of the processing

In a bookkeeping system of the account system the processing steps should be documented e.g. in a way, in which they can be reconstructed by a specialized user without programming knowledge. The comprehensibleness of the data results usually represents thereby a substantial part of the reduction of the delivery objects.

The description of the data processing takes place as text in Prosaform with reference to the technical names of the data elements or as pseudo code.

Subsequent phases

The data processing concept is a detail specification of the necessary data and data manipulations and forms the basis for the following phase of the implementation.
