Daniel Goeudevert (*31. January 1942 in Reims) is a French automanager and management consultant.

After the Abitur 1961 it studied first literature to the Sorbonne to Paris, before he became university lecturer in literature sciences. After 1965 it changed into the automobile industry and began its steep career with where it moved 1974 into the executive committee of Germany. From 1975 to 1978 Daniel Goeudevert took over the function of a general manager of the German Renault AG and became 1979 export boss of the enterprise. it brought it to 1981 up to the chairman of the board of the German Ford works AG, a post, from which it explained 1989 its resignation, in order to be able to dedicate itself completely to the structure of a German counterpart to the Harvard Business School.

Goeudevert became known in Germany of a broad public as the member of the board Volkswagen AG responsible for the purchase. After a re-organization of the executive committee departments he had responsibility marks starting from 1991 for the range. It made itself with VOLKSWAGEN a name as a "transverse philosopher", who represented gladly unusual opinions and management methods and did not forget also the human factor of the business. It was often apostrophiert as a bird of paradise. It supports the development of the public suburban traffic and endorses the development of pollution free cars. In the long run Goeudevert with this beginning failed because of its rather traditionally adjusted colleagues. it had to leave 1993 therefore Volkswagen. Since then he tried, its beginnings of a creative management in one of him initiated European management school to convert.

Today Goeudevert takes part among other things actively in the discussion over the education misery - special in Germany - and to topics of the industrialsocial perspective under the dictation of increasing environmental problems and shrinking raw materials.

Daniel Goeudevert held seats in several supervisory boards of international companies. It was member club of the OF Rome and first vice-president international becoming green of the cross, the environmental protection donation of Mikhail Gorbatschow. From 1998 to 2000 he was vice-president of FITS with springs (Fondation pour l' Economie & le development de region D' Europe). Since 1998 he is vice-president of EFI (Europe Finance industry et). Goeudevert received the Carlo Schmid price to 1993, 1997 the large Distinguished Service Cross of the Federal Republic of Germany as well as 2003 the Mercator Professur of the University of Duisburg. It is carrier of the medal of the French Ehrenlegion (Chevalier de la d'honneur).

Daniel Goeudevert wrote an autobiography like a bird in the aquarium, which became in Germany a best-seller. Since then it published some further books. With dreams the reality begins - from the life of a European stood likewise for a long time on the best-seller lists.
