The Daewoo Nexia is a model of the Korean automark GM Daewoo.

It resembles outwardly the OPEL cadet E, differs however by one approx. 25 cm longer body, a modified tail and a modified front. The rear doors of the with flow tail resemble less those of the OPEL cadet E with flow tail, but rather those of the cadet notchback.

As engines two 1.5 litres were used. The 8 Ventiler had 75PS, the 16V supplied 15PS more. There were also isolates the 8 Ventiler with only 60PS. This throttled version was meant for driving beginners and insurance savings foxes. In Germany the Nexia to year of construction was delivered 1997 with the pollutant class E2. Fundamentally there were the equipments to GL/GTX (flow tail 8V/16V) and GLE/GLX (notchback 8V/16V). Special models were the junior, Sportiv, Fantasy, cool one and Royal.

Nowadays the Nexia is manufactured still in India and in Usbeskistan. In Romania it is called Cielo.
