The Daewoo Espero was a model of the Korean automark GM Daewoo. It was sold in Europe between 1995 and 1997 and was based on the OPEL Ascona C of 1981. From beginning to the end of production there were 3 Benziner two with 66 KW (90 HP) (of 1.5 16V or 1.8 8V) and 77 KW (105 HP) (of 2.0 8V). It went toward to consumption with 8,2 litres (90 HP) and 7.9 litres (105 HP) quite economically; however with regular grade fuel. The Daewoo Espero was contrary to the OPELs Ascona, which was to be had also with flow tail to have only as four-door notchback sedan. Largest competitor of the Espero was the Hyundai Sonata.

With 4,61 m length is the Daewoo Espero a stately middle class sedan. The successor is called Daewoo Leganza.
