Corel corporation is an American technology company and software producer of text processing, picture working on and diagram programs. The company headquarters lies in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Firm history

The enterprise was created in the year 1985 by Michael Cowpland. Its intention was the establishment of a research lab. "Corel" is the abbreviation for "COwpland REsearch Laboratory".
