Cargotram (Zurich)

The Cargotram is a motor coach, which leads two trucks with itself, so that the population of the city Zurich can deliver their bulky goods waste in the own accomodation.

The Cargotram drives recycling Zurich (ORE) since spring 2003 and is a co-operation between the transporting enterprises Zurich (VBZ) and disposal +. In regular intervals bulky goods and electrical scrap iron can be transferred to the following stations – in each case between 15 and 19 o’clock -, which by the Cargotram afterwards to a waste disposal facility ORE is driven:

  • Albisrieden
  • Station depth well
  • Hirzenbach
  • Laubegg
  • Letzigrund
  • Sea-brook
  • Being rope
  • Wollishofen
  • Irchel

This service is free for the population, whereby only pedestrians, cyclists and users of the public Vekehrs from the offer may profit. Persons, who come with a vehicle, are rejected.
