A creasing hammer is a lighter hand hammer, which is heavy between 150 and 250 g for instance.

It has two Finns (pointed sides), whereby one is easily rounded. The creasing hammer is usually used in connection with the Sickenstock or a hardwood block for driving metal, thereby a sequential recess (Sicke) is driven into the material.
