The contracting politics, derived from contract for agreement or contract, cover all measures, which are connected with the contractually fixed agreements of an enterprise with its customers, in economical marketing thus those

  • Terms of payment and supply
  • Credit policy and leasing.

The contracting politics make thus different possibilities for the organization of the formal relations with the customers to the enterprises available, whereby the price strategy represents the central instrument.

In strategic marketing after the situation analysis of the contracting politics in view at expense, buyers, trade and competition the contracting strategy is specified. It contains the definition of the prices, discount, supply and payment politics as well as the credit policy of the enterprise.
