Conrad hotel is designated a subsidiary company Hilton Hotels, after the founder Conrad Hilton. Conrad hotel was created 1982, 70 years after the establishment of the Hilton chain, as chain for hotels and Resorts at the most important places of this world.

Conrad hotel was not the first expanding project Hilton Hotels. 1949 one already tried with Hilton international in the Karibik, Puerto Rico, Madrid and Istanbul. 15 years later Hilton international became its own line of business, which was sold at the stock exchange, the Hilton chain however all rights of the use of a name secured itself.

In January 1997 Hilton international and Hilton Hotels corporation merged again. In November 2000, Hilton Group PLC and Hilton Hotels corporation formed joint venture for luxury hotels: Conrad. In the possession of the two partners the enterprise sits in Brussels.

The 22 Conrad hotels are today in 13 countries, in Australia, the first Conrad hotel at all, in China, Belgium, Egypt, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand Ireland, Turkey, England, Uruguay and the USA. The probably most well-known hotel ranking among the chain is the whale village Towers in New York.
